About Dr. Winegar

Dr. Robert Winegar has been a practicing pediatric neuropsychologist for over ten years. During that time he has remained one of the few local psychologists focusing exclusively on child/adolescent assessment.

Dr. Winegar is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, American Psychological Association, National Academy of Neuropsychology, and the Florida Psychological Association.

An avid sports fan, Dr. Winegar played soccer at the collegiate level, continues to play a variety of sports, and enjoys coaching at the recreational level. A father of three, Dr. Winegar appreciates the value of youth sports, and understands the importance of keeping our children safe.

Dr. Winegar is a participant in the Florida Consussion Task Force, a group interested in creating legislation focused on protecting our student athletes.

About Stay Ahead of the Game

Stay Ahead of the Game Sports Concussion Management program was created to provide a proactive, affordable way for parents to protect the brain development of their student athletes who play contact sports.
